Science – curriculum information

At Kingswood Parks science is brought to life though hands on scientific enquiry experiences and exploration. Pupils have opportunities to regularly work scientifically, building not only their scientific knowledge but also their co-operation and team work skills when working with others.

Science is the key to understanding the world around us and we challenge our pupils to develop and apply scientific knowledge to make sense of the constantly changing world they live in. Practical experiments underpin our curriculum and stimulate pupils’ curiosity for the future, developing independent thinkers. Science is fully embedded into the life of the school and pupils routinely participate in and contribute to engaging science lessons, practical investigations, visits, talks and links with our local community
